The lovely Leticia Del Arco, stylist for Brisbane based label, 'Talulah' contacted me early last week with a proposition to feature 'Metallic Dreamer' alongside the latest Talulah lookbook and campaign. Of course, i jumped up and screamed with joy at the opportunity to sister my label up with Talulah and here are the results. Stoked. Cassie Hunter is an amazing model to boot aswell!
Ok, i have fallen in LOVE with this New York based jewellery designer. As documented on the wonderful 'Wide Awake Thoughts ' blog, Digby & Iona is the brain child of Aaron Ruff a carpenter by trade who found his calling in metal work... he is truly incredible at creating one of a kind, whimsical pieces with that oh so desired vintage edge. I am about to purchase myself the 14 point deer antler ring (as pictured). Retailing for only $210 in sterling silver or $230 in vermoille, his pieces whilst being truly amazing are also well priced! Get to www.digbyandiona.com to nab yourself a one of a kind charm!

So it has been a crazy few weeks for me with my label 'Metallic Dreamer'! A/W 10 campaign shoot - done, press in Issue 76 of Grazia Magazine and the brand new 'Trilby Phoenix' store on Oxford street stocking my AW/10 pieces opens in less than a week!
So many exciting things on the front, now it's time to design the next collection... keep your eyes peeled for rustic tones, dirty bronzes and slouchy styles! Collection name yet to come ;)
'Metallic Dreamer' is just days away from dropping into the brand new 'Trilby Phoenix' boutique on Oxford St, Paddington Sydney. I am so excited to see how my label is received by everyone, i am optimistic and pumped to hear feedback from all my customers.
If you would like to purchase a piece, view full collection or know details for Trilby Phoenix please don't hesitate to contact me for prices, stockist info and latest news.
I've just been contacted by an incredible photographer, Cam Hammond to style a range of submissions he is planning early this year.
I usually, quite quickly skip over emails that are sent from networking sites as the amount of talented fashion industry professionals is SLIM.
But... Cam Hammond is incredible. His photography is positively smouldering. Oozing perfect form, contrast, tone and mood. His images look like they belong on the pages of Russh with their glazed, smoky and feminine rinses and beautiful, strong models.
Big things for this part time photographer (yes, that's right - part time... photography isn't even his main focus).
