My pic of the day!

Whilst browsing/drooling over beautiful editorials tonight at my good friends Henryk and Amelias place, i stumbled across this pic and fell in LOVE!  This image is the epitome of style and unique concept.  I just cannot take my eyes off it!
The second image is just as beautiful with the 'burnt' effect of the models face it makes this pic eery and mysterious... like a doll that has been caught in a fire.
Enjoy lovelies

Inspirational

I have never seen a neck piece so beautiful.  The hours and days it would have taken to construct this piece is mind blowing to a girl who knows how tedious accessory production can be... and i only sew mine!

I couldn't help but post this can tab mask when i stumbled across it late last evening... a little creepy i do know - but all i could think of was how long this must have taken!
Secondly... these Oak NYC strapped ankle boots!  I am speechless!

Lanvin Lovin'

As the SS09/10 shows come to an end, in my mind one above all stood out... LANVIN.
Kudos to head designer Alber Albaz for such a breakthrough collection.  The show featured 52 of the worlds best models, of course including my girl crush Abbey Lee Kershaw!
My craving for all things Lanvin inspired a little Polyvore :)

where the wild things are

In relation to the release of the film 'Where the Wild Things Are' i thought it suitable to re-post my latest collection of accessories for Metallic Dreamer... loosely related due to the animalistic appearance of my range :)
Ostrich, Chicken & Coque feathers, leather, furs, studs & sequins are mixed together to create large neckpieces / styling pieces to create new and exciting looks suited to any outfit!
Styling tip:  Looks best layered with LBD or White tee and denim cut offs :)

Grazia Mag - Page 44

I was lucky enough to be featured on Grazia Mags page 44 :)
Wearing the 'Metallic Dreamer' Velvet Lace Up neck piece, Vintage Leopard Print coat and leather bustier, Sass & Bide shorts, Black Milk Tights and vintage boots.

Stay tuned for more images of the always amazing 'Black Milk' tights range... the beautiful designer James Lillis was nice enough to send me down his new 'Lace' range... to DIE FOR!

a beautiful life

There really is nothing more graceful than a beautiful bird spreading it's wings... add an incredible model and rustic location to the mix and you have a stunning editorial.
Images like these definitely serve as inspiration for future 'Metallic Dreamer' creations :)
Stay tuned.  Also be sure to visit www.trilbyphoenix.com.au over the next 2 weeks to purchase any items from my current collection.

Lots of love
